Small Gods
A small god is typically the god of X, where X may just about anything you can think of.
Small gods may fall under a number of classifications:
- Gods over a region or area; e.g., the goddess of the lake, the god of the wood
- Pagan gods (like the Norse or Greek gods, each with their own sphere of influence)
- Cthulhoid Elder Gods and Old Ones
- Strange creatures with powers around which a following has gathered; the creature need not be intelligent (for example, an enormous snake in a cave that the locals sacrifice to)
